I did not think the referendum had much of a chance given the government and media stance against it. Now I am waiting to see how many people blame this on boomers again. Boomers elected the Liberals! Now looks like 70% of Alberta’s population are boomers, am I right? There are now people calling for investigation into Alberta separatists and the foreign money and foreign influence in Canadian politics, all pointing south at the US. (While CSIS is warning the CCP is doing the very same). The MSM is painting this as a sign the separatists and dissafected were only really a sub 10% of the population. Marching orders from Carney, no doubt, who will use the Alberta referendum as a “clear mandate” for whatever bullshit he wants to push next. There will be elbows ...

My musings- when will Carney impose home equity tax?
When will the Feds take away or lower CPP and OAS payments. I don't think they can touch CPP as only contributors collect but the other is fair game.

Anyone watch Gutfeld last night on the BC guy who won an alderman seat in Kelowna who said he didn't want the job. Heard him on a radio interview and intrigued me. I believe he is in his early thirties, named Brady and did instagram videos.
