News You Can Use!

SFI is moving right along...!

Check out our July 25th, 2026 "News You Can Use" edition.

Alberta Seniors for Independence is geared mainly toward providing information and resources for seniors to become aware of the issues we're facing in Canada, and how an independent Alberta can move toward prosperity and the promise of a better future for our children and grandchildren.

Please share our newsletters with others, and consider volunteering in order to help get the word out to others:

Watch your local newspapers to see if they publish our Opinion articles or not. The Calgary Herald has published our first one. To read it:
https://calgaryherald.com/opinion/columnists/alberta-voices-sabine-brasok-seniors-for-independence-lays-out-its-arguments-for-separatism

Please share this information with your family, friends, neighbours, acquaintances, and strangers who all need to be aware of the situation Canada is in right now, and the potential to provide our children, grandchildren and future generations with a much better future.

NOTE: We've decided not to pursue accreditation as a Referendum Third Party Advertiser (TPA) due to the onerous demands made by Elections Alberta.

Don't forget: On October 19th, for referendum question number 10, we encourage you to vote for Option 2!

All the best to you and yours,

Well this explains the high number of cancelled signatures.
Sounds like when “they” called you, you needed to know the date you signed. Who friggin knows that from a random day months ago.
Elections Alberta just makes this special crap up for us.
Meanwhile… Luckazik didn’t even need ID of any kind for his signatures. You could be visiting from Mars and still sign that petition.
Elections Alberta is definitely compromised.

Here's my next email - to Farkas, councillors, Danielle, Mike Ellis and Dan Williams - LMK what you think and am I missing anything before I hit send (I'm kinda counting to 10 to be sure I said everything I want to say and in the right way) - BTW my subject line is "Thank you so much" (so they'll open it!):

A bent-over, drug addled, zombie lighting his drug paraphenalia!

I immediately let a couple of the male staff know and they responded right away.

Here's the thing...none of us - me, other shoppers, children, the staff - should have to deal with this kind of situation!! What if it was a store where there were only female staff?
