Here's my next email - to Farkas, councillors, Danielle, Mike Ellis and Dan Williams - LMK what you think and am I missing anything before I hit send (I'm kinda counting to 10 to be sure I said everything I want to say and in the right way) - BTW my subject line is "Thank you so much" (so they'll open it!):
"Today I was running errands in a respectable SW community. I went to pick up some things at Canadian Tire. The store was filled with people, dogs, and young children. As I rounded the corner to go down one of the aisles, I saw...
A bent-over, drug addled, zombie lighting his drug paraphenalia!
I immediately let a couple of the male staff know and they responded right away.
Here's the thing...none of us - me, other shoppers, children, the staff - should have to deal with this kind of situation!! What if it was a store where there were only female staff? What if he accidentally set fire to the store? What if one of the children touched something that had residue of fentanyl or whatever drug he was using? We shouldn't even be exposed to the fumes of whatever he was doing!
There must be zero tolerance and absolutely no drug zombies or mentally ill people on the street left to their own devices. NONE! Get these poor souls into rehab and mental institutions. I am livid. And I thank God that I went down that aisle first and it wasn't a child that met up with him.
So thank you so much for using tax dollars for questionable "artwork" on buses instead of creating a safe and clean city for us."

After musing about this for over two weeks and reading comments here have to speak out. I just listened to Premier Smith on her talk segment this morning and found it interesting as usual. Her comment about the bully in the room in Canada was her dig at Dougie and loved it.
Anyway had a conversation with an elderly gentleman last weekend about the referendum as he was upset it was happening. I said I will be voting to have a real referendum if only to wake the rest of Canada up. I for one have thought separation through and the only way it works is to be the 51st state which I am not against.
I have 3 children and one works in B.C. on a pipeline in environmental end so not an Alberta Redneck. He said that the ones he works with admire our Premier and think she is on the right track. He also agrees as do I as there is absolutely no one that would be better. My daughter was all about age limits as it pertains to U.S. president. I personally think Trump is great but know I am alone on it....
“Canada” didn’t sign….Carnage did. He doesn’t speak for me.

The Carney government has quietly signed a controversial United Nations cybercrime treaty that critics warn could dramatically expand international surveillance powers—all without a public announcement in Parliament or a national debate.
The move has triggered demands for answers from Conservative MP Leslyn Lewis, who questioned why Ottawa abandoned its earlier objections to the agreement and signed it with little public attention.
“The Liberal government should explain why there was no parliamentary or public debate on this treaty that many believe will impact the surveillance of Canadians,” Lewis wrote Friday.
Ottawa insists the UN Convention against Cybercrime is intended to help countries cooperate against transnational cybercrime and contains some of the strongest human rights safeguards ever included in an international criminal justice treaty.
“Cybercrime is a global threat that requires a global response,” Foreign ...
