Abysmal turnout at Brooks town hall

Danielle had a town hall meeting in Medicine Hat and Brooks yesterday. I wasn’t in Medicine Hat but the pictures I saw showed it was half empty but I did attend in Brooks and it was mostly empty with chairs being filled by CA board members and their friends. Not sure if it was lack of advertising or what but I was a little embarrassed, we might just as well have had a board meeting.
Couple of things during the questions I noticed. One person asked about the pipelines and DS was “still encouraged” about the MOU but trailed off saying “if we can get Eby onboard”. THAT ain’t happening anymore than getting Quebec on board so basically just spinning her wheels an placating Albertans with false hope. The second question that stood out was “can we get equalization changed so the separatists are happy and stop this nonsense leaving Canada”. DS answered in a round about fashion stating that other provinces has to agree and once Quebec gets a new leader in the current governing party or the PQ gets in then ‘hopefully’ they will be more open to changes so we can get a pittance returned to us whilst still supporting a very capable Quebec give freebies to Quebecers.
Quebec has veto power over any agreements on equalization and representation. Not sure what government would voluntarily end their control to be fair…she is hoping they will see our plight and be fair to the West. So the answer is NO there will be no change in equalization or representation and she really needs to be more honest and forthright about this. She is tap dancing on very thin ice here.

Allison Inquiry testimony summary from Carrie Sakamoto: (Lethbridge):
“Next to testify was Lethbridge, AB resident Carrie Sakamoto, who suffered a vaccine injury after taking her second shot in June of 2021; a Pfizer version of the experimental drugs on top of an AstraZeneca COVID shot she had in April that same year.

“I started getting a pain in my brain; it was so bad. I call it fire in my brain, and I have it to this day. Fire. It just feels like my brain is on fire,” Sakamoto told the Inquiry. “But as soon as (migraine) meds wore off, I was in the exact same position…then my face started swelling up, and I thought I was having a stroke. At the hospital they told me it was Bell’s palsy (but) they sent me home again because they said the hospital was filled up with COVID patients.”

Sakamoto said her memory loss in the aftermath is “really bad,” and several times during her testimony she had to stop and admit she had forgotten the question. What’s worse is her current brain...
