Much ado has been made lately about Bill S-206. By that, I mean texts and posts warning Canadians that S-206 is a linchpin — the key piece in a wider plan of bad legislation. After digging into it, I do not believe S-206 is what many claim (I explained why in an earlier post). But there are bills on the floor right now that deserve far more attention.

Today I’m focusing on Bill C-8, because it has the potential to change the daily quality of life of Canadians and could be applied in ways that hit specific provinces — including Alberta — harder than others. Bill C-8 demands serious and immediate public scrutiny.
