What would a truly free Alberta look like? Would we want the Westminster style of government we currently have? Would something else be better? While this idea might be putting the horse before the cart, we might be wise to think of this and similar ideas. Either way, it’s not going to happen for a while I think.

My letter to City Council this morning!

I have copied and pasted this from the Common Sense Calgary email update that was sent out this morning.

“This morning, at 9:30 am, there will be a meeting of City Council. The meeting will focus on Calgary’s 2024-2025 White Goose Flying progress report. The report outlines the City’s continued work on advancing Truth and Reconciliation commitments. The Indigenous Relations Office, established in 2020, has led efforts across departments and with community partners to implement the Calls to Action, including housing programs, procurement opportunities, and cultural initiatives. Highlights include the launch of an Indigenous housing program, a procurement strategy to support Indigenous-owned businesses, and a partnership framework for developing an Indigenous Gathering Place. Weaponizing the vulnerable.

The more I see what is going on in our world the more I believe that the easily manipulated, unstable and vulnerable are being radicalized and weaponized against the common sense, mainstream population.
