My letter to City Council this morning!
I have copied and pasted this from the Common Sense Calgary email update that was sent out this morning.
“This morning, at 9:30 am, there will be a meeting of City Council. The meeting will focus on Calgary’s 2024-2025 White Goose Flying progress report. The report outlines the City’s continued work on advancing Truth and Reconciliation commitments. The Indigenous Relations Office, established in 2020, has led efforts across departments and with community partners to implement the Calls to Action, including housing programs, procurement opportunities, and cultural initiatives. Highlights include the launch of an Indigenous housing program, a procurement strategy to support Indigenous-owned businesses, and a partnership framework for developing an Indigenous Gathering Place. Progress was also made on the Indian Residential School permanent memorial, with a conceptual design selected for implementation. City staff continue cultural learning through the Seasons of Reconciliation program, while new agreements, such as the MOU with the Blackfoot Confederacy, strengthen formal relationships. The report emphasizes integrating Indigenous perspectives into climate action, economic reconciliation, and service planning. The City will prepare for a 10-year refresh of the White Goose Flying report in 2026, with the aim of ensuring Reconciliation remains embedded in long-term plans and decision-making.”
Why are dollars being spent on this initiative when there is ABSOLUTELY NO EVIDENCE to confirm that there was malfeasance at the various residential schools. When did we become a society that pronounces guilt without evidence? No bodies have been exhumed, and no missing children reports have ever emerged. This propaganda (and it is exactly that without solid evidence) and virtue signalling MUST stop immediately as scarce tax dollars would be better spent elsewhere.
It is also my understanding that Indigenous housing falls under federal jurisdiction. Why is the City of Calgary immersing itself in an issue that is not even within its jurisdiction?
And while Council is at it, until actual evidence emerges I would suggest that the City Council remove the display of propaganda that remains on the steps of City Hall.
Stop the propaganda once and for all. Promote unity rather than division.

4. The trans story connection from Thursday is taking off with yet another odd festishistic twist. Wait for it.
My credentials do come into play somewhat here and you deserve to know them. I worked at the highest levels of true crime investigation and reporting for many years. In cases like this, experience matters. A number of grifters have emerged to monetize this story. Including the bizarre contention that the rise of Charlie Kirk haters posting on social media is a “psy-op” which is easily debunked. They are real accounts with actual bios attached and the posters whose names are on them are being fired and punished. ...
