If Canada were to create a border czar position, as per Premier Smith, I would go to work for that person for the fee of One Dollar (CAD). I have worked extensively in the intelligence community in Canada, the USA, Singapore and the Netherlands over a period of forty years. This includes intelligence work on the ground during the war in the former Yugoslavia. I am also a court expert on terrorism at the Federal and Criminal court level. Over the years, I have worked for multiple alphabet soup organizations including the CAF, PCO/IAS, RCMP, ICTY (NL), NMJIC, Immigration Canada, RSIS (Singapore) and DOJ.
I have authored/co-authored books on relevant subjects such as:
1. Seeing the Invisible – National Security Intelligence in an Uncertain Age (World Scientific 2007)
2. The Danger of Political Islam to Canada (With a Warning to America) 2017
3. Lovers of Death: Factories of Islamist Terrorism (2018)
4. The New Order of Fear (The Great Reset) 2021
5. Witness to Deceit (PR Trudeau’s Infowar on the Freedom Convoy 2022
6. The Assassin’s Mace – How Canada Became China’s Weapon to Conquer America (2024)
Within one week, I could produce a comprehensive program for Canada which would satisfy the demands of the US State Department and Intelligence Community as they relate to the demands of President Trump and his border tariffs. This specifically refers to the terrorism aspects of the Islamists, the Iranians (read IRGC/Quds and Hezbollah). It would also cover the Khalistanis and other lesser groups.
Combined with Sam Cooper/Andy Lee's work on China/fentanyl, an effective response to the US demands could be created in a brief period. Altogether, the larger program to address all American concerns about deep rooted terrorism and Chinese influence/fentanyl could be created in under two weeks.
My belief is that the Government of Canada has the ability, but not necessarily the will or the ability, to create such a response. To effectively address such issues, the Government of Canada would have to purge itself of foreign influences.
It remains to be seen if Canada (read Trudeau/Carney et al) are willing to put the requirements of Canada over and above their own political will and interests.
(For those with partisan interests, it can be stated that NDP, the Conservative Party and the Green Party also have their own internal problems which are less than but similar to those of the Liberal Party. These would have to be addressed as well.)
