It is ironic and unfortunate that the very thing you are working for is the very thing that Carney is working against. Regardless whether Q1-9 results in a majority mandate for you - it would seem that Carney has already provided his answer on how successful your future efforts will be. (And on another front, he's already moving the pipeline goal post or as the spin goes "won't make the first deadline"!)
It is troubling that you consistently and constantly refer to all Canada's woes as being the result of Justin Trudeau when in fact Carney was Trudeau's advisor for 5 years. You said "how damaging the open-border policies of his [Carney's] predecessor were" - you want to blame Trudeau for our immigration woes, but I think you need to admit that Carney is WORSE than Trudeau on almost every metric (hard to believe that's possible but it is true) including immigration. Stop blaming Trudeau and start blaming Carney!
Carney is planning to bring 15,000,000 immigrants from India! FIFTEEN MILLION!! That's a lot more than Trudeau ever did. Trudeau caused measurable damage with his immigration policies but Carney's will destroy Canadian culture! Add to this Carney's efforts to remove the requirement for employers to prove they can't find a Canadian worker - it will decimate our Canadian workers - young and old. Not to mention the disaster that is "associate membership" in the sinking EU ship! How can you support any of this?
I don't know what happened to you, Madam Premier, but I and many of your base wish we had our Iron Lady back because we need someone to fight for Alberta. You used to have a fire in your belly. I know you once cared deeply for Alberta and hard-working Albertans, I hope you still do. Do not get in bed with a self-proclaimed globalist elitist who is working solely for the City of London, Brookfield and his own interests.

“CALGARY — Premier Danielle Smith declined to say whether independence supporters will be forced out of the United Conservative Party (UCP) if Albertans vote to remain in Canada in Monday’s referendum, despite acknowledging that loyalty to a united Canada was among the party’s founding principles.
Speaking to reporters Friday at the Canada Strong and Free Network’s annual conference in Calgary, the premier was repeatedly pressed on whether UCP supporters who back independence would remain welcome in the party, following former premier Jason Kenney’s recent comments that they should be expelled.
Smith suggested that some Albertans who recently embraced the independence movement could reconsider their position following the October 19 vote....
Hubby and I were having a discussion about the 9 questions and I am still a little miffed about the fact the REAL questions were not asked. The question DS ran on in her campaign that should have been the base of this referendum.
1. Do you want to have an Alberta pension plan
2. Do you want Alberta to collect it's own taxes and decide what Ottawa gets
3. Do you want an Alberta police force
4. Do you want Alberta firearms regulations and legislation.
5. Do you want to stay on MST or DST year round.
6. Do you want to Alberta to become an independent nation.
DS has always been a "go along to get along" gal by her own admission. Remember how pissed everyone was in her group when she went and got jabbed then posted pictures of her social engagements while the rest of us were the social pariah? She was empowered by us with big balls and somewhere along the line got neutered.
