From Mitch:
“43 days to October 19.
A week ago I stood at the Legislature with thousands of Albertans.
Thank you. Thank you to every volunteer who set up the tables and tore them down, ran the sound, handed out flags, worked the merch tent, drove a bus, and stayed until the grounds were clean. Thank you to everyone who drove two and three hours each way to stand with people they had never met.
No party organized that afternoon. No consultant designed it. Nobody there was paid to care. Albertans decided to show up, and they showed up.
That is what a grassroots network is, and it is the only real advantage we have. We are never going to outspend anyone. We are going to out-organize them, one kitchen table and one conversation at a time.
If you could not be there, the whole afternoon is up on YouTube and the links are below. Start with Leighton Grey.
Now the thing you need to act on this week.
Elections Alberta has moved the deadline to apply for a special ballot, the mail-in ballot, from October 9 to September 25. That is nineteen days from today.
Our advice has not changed, and this is a good reason to repeat it. Vote in person. Advance voting runs October 13 to 17 and you can go to any advance location in your electoral division. Election Day is October 19, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Bring ID that shows your name and your current physical address.
Two things you should know if you have already requested a mail-in ballot. Your completed package has to reach Elections Alberta in Edmonton by 5:00 pm on October 16, by mail, with no drop box and no in-person drop-off. But if it does not get there in time, you are not shut out. Elections Alberta has confirmed you can still vote at an advance poll or on October 19. Their register updates when a special ballot is received, so nobody votes twice.
So if that package is sitting on your kitchen counter, mail it now or plan to go in person instead. Either way, decide this week and tell somebody what you decided.
One last thing, and it matters more than people realize. The buses on Saturday, the letters printed and mounted on that lawn, the trifold a farmer asked for and had in his hands four days later, the door hangers going out across this province: Albertans paid for every bit of it. We take no corporate money and no party money. Funded by Albertans, accountable to Albertans is not a line at the bottom of this email, it is the whole model.
Forty-three days is enough time to win this if we use every one of them.
The clock is running. Let's go.

“Alberta is entering the final stretch before the October 19 vote.
Elon Musk’s endorsement of Alberta independence has added another major voice to the debate, while opponents of change continue warning Albertans about economic collapse, lost trade, and uncertainty.
But Alberta already possesses extraordinary advantages: world-class energy reserves, vast agricultural resources, a young skilled workforce, and one of the strongest economies in Canada.
The choice on October 19 is not an independence referendum.
Option 2 creates leverage. It demands a better relationship with Ottawa, stronger democratic representation, greater economic freedom, and meaningful constitutional change.
The coming days will be critical. Advance voting, turnout, conversations with undecided voters, and showing visible support will all matter.
A major rally will be held at the Alberta Legislature on October 17 at 3 PM.
