I remember back in the day the beginnings of the DS Locals.
I think most of us started there and formed our bond there.
I think she was present and mostly didn’t comment but she did post her commentary on current events. I mostly remember the Sunday one hour “ask me anything”. Back then I thought she was transparent.
Nothing to win or loose in that locals group back then. Occasionally she would do and make stupid decisions an I think curiously listened but thinking back she didn’t comprehend. She went a got the one time jab in the States so she could participate in society.
Maybe that was the tell.
She talked vaccine choice and bushwhacked Kenney on her last interview with him.
When she got back from her stateside jab she proudly posted pictures of herself enjoying an Oilers game as … one of the jabbed.
Meanwhile most of us here were banished and segregated from society. Tell you what, I will never forget walking by the Lethbridge Mall food court that was partitioned off with yellow police do not cross tape… and the only way in was thru a keystone mall cop checking “passports”.
I remember we slammed her for that Oilers game post. She was carefull after that.
… anyway getting back to the one hour Sunday “ask me anything”.
👉 I remember her telling us that the biggest mistake she made was loosing touch with her Wildrose base of support.
The voices between her and her base caused her to loose her base of support.
Welp the rest is history.
She naively took the Jim Prentice bate and switch leaving her base of support at the alter. After a few years in political purgatory she decided to try one more time if Albertan’s would have her.
Campaigning for leadership she made some very profound Strong Alberta statements to us
Not that long ago but seems a lifetime ago. The DS of then and now is opposite.
… and dejevue… here we go again. Carney is Jim Prentice 2.0 playing her like a fiddle.
She has Again completely lost connection with her base of support… even though she has acknowledged that that was her biggest mistake of Wildrose leader.
Her naïveté destroyed one party and she is about to take out the UCP.

The Alberta Iron Lady has become the Alberta Achilles heel… I don’t think the AGM is going to go well for her.
Submitting herself to the will of the Globalist’s against the will of the majority of your support cannot end well.
Not sure how this is all going to go but I do think there is a dust up on the horizon.

Keith Wilson may unknowingly become an important factor in the next few months.

“EDMONTON — Alberta independence advocate and co-leader of the "Let Alberta Decide" third-party advertising group, Keith Wilson, called on Elections Alberta to apply Alberta's election laws fairly ahead of the independence referendum on Tuesday, claiming that the office is compromised.

"It is expected to conduct itself with impartiality and the highest degree of integrity and treat all sides the same," said Wilson during an interview with Rebel News.

"No observer can look at the facts here and conclude that's what's happening. Elections Alberta has compromised itself. It is blatantly obvious."

“"Thomas Lukaszuk with his Forever Canada thing is almost rubbing it in now," Wilson said. "'Look at you guys are following the rules, and the Chief Electoral Officer is not requiring me to.' He said in a BBC interview this week that he's...
