A little update on a few things

You might remember I was seeking advice about 6 weeks ago about what to do because one of my sisters,(nurse) who caused me a lot of grief during Covid and then blocked me for over a year, - her boyfriend was diagnosed with fast growing, stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that had metastasized to… everything! Essentially he has turbo cancer. My other sister asked me to support nurse-sister and I was trying to figure out what to do. I got mixed advice but in the end, I sent a few supportive texts. In one I mentioned that there are people (I said no names) who have been successfully treated for stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I was trying to give her a bit of hope. She sent me a nasty gram back saying that she would never trust anyone I would trust and that they were going with someone “professional”. She said she has the absolute best pancreatic dr. So they put Bob thru chemo and Thursday he is scheduled for MAID. I have mixed feelings about MAID. I think it fits in these situations- especially if you’re closed minded and you’ve given up hope. But to me, it’s a slippery slope. In this case, with nurse sister being so closed minded, I think it’s probably best for him. I feel bad for the guy and ultimately, I am happy I tried to be supportive. I can live with myself. And it confirms my path forward.

Re: electroculture rods. A week after we put them in (we put 6 out), we had a wicked hailstorms with toonie sized hail. It delayed my garden. Where the rods were, in almost every case, the plants close by are roughly twice the size. We are still reserving judgement until the harvest in case it is just a fluke. But my husband, who is a skilled skeptician, already commented that it looks pretty promising.

Take care, my tribe.

Exactly, the NDP are against any kind of prosperity, they prefer to keep their supporters poor and needy

It's not a "tanker ban." It's an NDP economic blockade.

Foreign ships still sail freely along B.C.'s northern coast.

The only thing being blocked is our prosperity, while doing absolutely nothing to protect the environment.

Hi.

I live in Alberta and I’m a Forever Canadian who will be voting to stay.

Because Canada is thriving….

It doesn’t bother me that 59% of Canadians are now saying they’ll never retire.

And yes, I’m aware that homeless encampments have increased 303% across Canada since 2018 - it’s really not that big of a deal, we have beautiful summers.

And I have heard that 10% of Canadians are living in poverty - could we do better? I guess - but at least it’s not 20%.

And so what if roughly 100,000 Canadians have already been laid off in 2026 - maybe they should’ve chosen a career path that was a little more stable.

And I think it’s totally fine that 42% of Canadian manufactures are planning to move to the US. They should move. They’re likely racist bigots - the US can have them.

I mean, anyone who questions the government is a racist bigot - and that ...
