Not sure if anyone ever watched Little House on the Prairie but I did and one episode keeps popping up in my mind. Want to deal with all the invaders coming in to our country and taking over or the FN land claims taking over? Blow it up.
The finale of the show "The Last Farewell" The townspeople chose to destroy Walnut Grove as an act of defiance against the railroad tycoon who had fraudulently acquired their land. Rather than allow him to profit from their homes and businesses, they chose to erase the town itself, ensuring he would not benefit from their labor and memories. It was a powerful, albeit drastic, statement about the importance of community and self-determination.
