It is very sad that Jeff Rath recently buried his wife who was only 54 yrs old.
If it was from an illness, he was likely very stressed and distracted over it. It is amazing that he was able to focus at all on independence.
If it was sudden that is also very stressful and distracting.
Some may say my next statement is uncaring but all I’m saying is…He has nothing to distract him now so I suspect he’s going to be going full steam ahead now.

My admiration for Jeff Rath just grew.
I had no idea he had just lost his wife.
All through this, he still came out, did interviews, stood tall for Alberta,
never backed down, and voiced himself on our behalf.
That deserves a whole lot of respect.
My condolences to Jeff and his family.
