https://edmontonsun.com/news/local-news/ucp-pre-empts-committee-vote-with-press-release-announcing-forever-canadian-petition-will-be-put-to-a-fall-referendum
Bit of a clusterfuck going on with a “leak” before the committee vote:
Western Standard: “Details of the motion include that the committee's report be tabled with a recommendation for Lukaszuk's policy petition to be referred for the purpose of a referendum on Oct. 19, and that "the question to be put to the electors in the referendum include an option for Albertans to vote for Alberta to remain in Canada."

Lukaszuk's petition application called for a referendum asking, "Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada?"

Under the Citizen Initiative Act, Justice Minister Mickey Amery will have the authority to rewrite the question in a manner that he feels will ensure that "The constitutional referendum will result in a clear expression of the will of the electors. And, the question is otherwise suitable to be put to the electors at a constitutional referendum."

Edmonton Journal:
“Technology and Innovation Minister Nate Glubish, who was at the committee meeting in lieu of Indigenous Relations Minister Rajan Sawhney, introduced a motion that not only puts the question “Do you agree that Alberta should remain in Canada?” on the fall referendum, but also asks that the question put to voters include an option for Albertans to vote for Alberta to remain in Canada.

The committee’s report would be referred to the lieutenant governor in council for the purpose of a referendum as per the Referendum Act.”

Danielle Smith is a major reason Albertans were even able to collect signatures in the first place. Compared to any other premier in this country, I believe she has been the strongest one standing up for her province.
I will not forget her accomplishments.
She stood up for parental rights when others wanted schools keeping parents in the dark.
She took action against political ideology being pushed in classrooms.
She made sure kids got back to school when the system tried to hold families hostage.
She has strengthened Alberta Sheriffs and continued exploring ways to free Alberta from relying on the RCMP.
And that is only part of it.
This movement should be ...

Mark has basically said there will be no pipeline. He is giving First Nations in B.C. a veto. Moose goes over the MOU Smith signed. He says it’s terrible.
