Re: Feedback after Calgary Convention
Mr. Poilievre (et al),
I have sent several emails over the last year asking you for an explanation as to why you voted YES on Bill C-4; to date, you have never responded. In December 2021, 100% of MPs voted to pass Bill C-4 and you were all beyond excited - Michelle Rempel Garner, in a disgusting display, actually danced in the House of Commons - symbolic of dancing on the graves of the thousands of soon to be damaged families and children.
I voted for you.
I donated to your campaign.
AS OF NOW, THE CPC HAS LOST MY VOTE AND MY MONEY.
Especially after your recent convention and mostly for reasons related to your stance on social issues. After your 87.4% leadership review from a limited pool of voters, you are likely feeling pretty confident. However, two things (at least) are raining on your parade whether you acknowledge it or not:
Your base is not happy with the result at the convention where the resolution to amend the party's previous support for Bill C-4 was defeated.
Your party's support in 2021 for Bill C-4 has had a detrimental affect on Canadian families and vulnerable children where those who need therapy can only receive affirmation. Then...
TUMBLER RIDGE, BC.
Every single Member of Parliament who voted YES on Bill C-4, and those new members who currently sit in the House, should be ashamed for apparently being so massively uninformed and easily manipulated. Every family (mine included) broken apart by this "transgender" crusade and every innocent child led down the path of confusion, medicalization or surgery (my son) is a by-product of Bill C-4. Tumbler Ridge could have been prevented…and it is not a gun issue.
Truth and Courage apparently die
at the doorsteps of the House of Commons and the CBC.
I don't see my values represented by the Conservative Party of Canada at all. You have some good economic policies but that's about it. On social issues you are at best cowards and at worst Liberal. I would provide links to a plethora of data, organizations and detransitioner testimonies that are on the right and truthful side of history, but I imagine you would not bother to read any of it, just like you don't bother to respond to emails.
