As usual, Cory has a good perspective. Nenshi’s federalist leanings are a big factor sure but I also think it’s his craving to become one of the “elite” even though it’s not the Laurentian-style. He doesn’t realize he will never be accepted by them anyway. He’s not working to make things better for Alberta/Albertans, just himself. He never has anything positive to offer. Every time he opens his mouth it’s to complain, bitch and vilify. He only does it to get himself in the limelight. That’s NOT what makes a leader. Until the foolish NDP that chose him realize he’s an albatross to the party, they are going to sink further.
