From Soulful Words...
God, when I feel weary, whisper that You’re still working. There are moments when the weight of life feels almost too much to carry — when my heart is tired, my hope feels thin, and my faith trembles under the pressure of waiting. In those moments, I start to wonder if anything is moving at all. I pray, I try, I hold on, but the silence feels long, and the progress feels slow. Yet, deep down, I know that even when I can’t see it, You’re still working. You haven’t stopped. You never do. You’re the God who moves quietly in the background, turning even the stillest seasons into sacred preparation.
When I feel worn out and empty, remind me that rest is not weakness — it’s part of Your design. You never asked me to carry everything on my own; You only asked me to trust You with it. So when I’m weary, teach me to lay it all down — the striving, the worry, the endless trying to make things happen in my own strength. Whisper to my soul that You’re still writing my story, still weaving purpose into my pain, still redeeming what I can’t yet understand. Help me remember that my exhaustion doesn’t mean You’ve abandoned me — it’s often the place where You begin to show me just how strong Your grace really is.
Your work is steady even when mine stops. You move in ways I can’t see, timing things perfectly for my good. You are never idle, even in silence. You are healing what’s broken, shaping what’s uncertain, and opening doors I don’t even know exist yet. So when I feel too tired to keep believing, remind me that You are faithful. Remind me that You don’t need my strength to complete what You’ve started — You just need my surrender.
God, whisper peace into my restlessness. Let Your voice be the quiet reassurance that keeps me going — not because I see results, but because I know You’re near. When my spirit grows weary from waiting, remind me that You never stop working on behalf of those who love You. And when I finally look back on this season, let me see how every delay, every detour, every tired moment had purpose — how You were working all along, even when I couldn’t feel it.
So tonight, tomorrow, and every time I grow weary, whisper it again, Lord: “I’m still working.” Let those words be the calm that steadies me, the truth that keeps me standing, and the hope that carries me through.

I worked as VP Policy for our CA Board in the past year. We put forward 8 policies and whooohooooo 5 of the 8 that we submitted (or co-submitted) have made it to the floor of the AGM. We have the following that have made it to the Plenary:
1. Allow only official government flags to be flown on Government property;
2. Advocating for proper labelling of lab grown meat;
3. Implementing the recommendations of the Davidson report on vaccines;
4. Ending the practice of community water fluoridation;
5. Advocating to end the practice of mRNA injections in livestock or food sources in Alberta.
So excited to have had our policies selected out of over 800 policies!
It is a great example of being able to work towards change if we put in the effort.
