This scam with the teachers is far from benign. Notely ensured that the union was also the regulator! That means the ATA decides all qualifications, etc and decide all for teachers! On top of that, there is legislation forcing the teachers to be in the union!
The teachers can allegedly be removed as teachers and blacklisted if they don't go along with the union's wants and decisions.
Notely also merged special needs children into the regular school system. That means teachers have children who have autism and other issues including handicaps so severe that teachers are changing diapers (yes, diaper pails in middle and high schools), violent children ...
