One thing I really REALLY dislike is exploiting a tragedy for personal gain whether that is financial or societal. Charlie Kirk’s tragic death has become the marketing plug to sell products, boost business, enhance social status and gain favor. I think it’s GREAT that his foundation Turning Point USA has exploded with interest and request to open chapters all over the world, I think it’s great that Eric’s clothing that sees profits donated to the homeless is sold out but I think it’s deplorable when people post that their business believes in free speech, conservative values and all that Charlie stood for etc…to boost sales or for the “look at me” effect. The rage farming against the left is off the charts and whereas I agree many of their comments are disgusting and hateful, encouraging anger is not what Charlie stood for. Not sure about the “Israel is behind this” angle but who knows these days, I am inclined to question the shot taken by Tyler Robinson, it’s my understanding he had little experience with firearms. I am so over humans both socialist and conservative, I suppose not reading social media would help.

2. Shifting to Expensive Alternatives
To slow down the depletion of stockpiles, energy companies are scrambling to source alternative crude and propane deliveries via rail cars, marine vessels, and trucks. While this is keeping the market supplied, these transit methods are far more expensive and logistically limited compared to the pipeline. [1, 2]
3. Supply Vulnerabilities
While you won't see empty pumps today, certain sectors are highly vulnerable the longer the line stays dark:
Aviation: Major travel hubs like Toronto Pearson International Airport and Quebec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport rely directly on Line 5's regional network for jet fuel.
Home Heating: Propane supply networks are feeling the pressure as the region prepares for autumn demand.
