“The Smith government is not putting a separatist referendum on a ballot but the smart money, called smart for a reason, says Smith is going to make it easier for Albertans to put the question on the ballot.

There will be fewer names needed on a petition to get a vote on a question and a longer period of time will be given to get people signed up.”

Here's what I came up with upon waking this morning - this statement is my own:

"What is Canada?

Canada is a collection of 10 provinces and 3 territories, each with their own unique culture, unified, if at all, by nothing more than an idea of patriotism for a country that no longer exists, if it ever did, and infiltrated by a tsunami of unassimilated foreign cultures further exacerbating the dilution and disappearance of foundational Judeo-Christian moral values, and any hope, of that Canada."

That this even had to go before a judge and WASTE more taxpayers dollars bloody stimies me.

A federal labour board has upheld the dismissal of a government employee who fraudulently claimed thousands in pandemic relief payments, marking the first ruling of its kind.

Blacklock's Reporter says an adjudicator with the Public Sector Labour Relations and Employment Board determined the employee knowingly disregarded eligibility rules.

“She knew the importance of correctly understanding eligibility criteria and sticking to it,” wrote adjudicator Nancy Rosenberg.

“However, in her own case, the grievor seemed to go out of her way to not clearly understand or obtain definitive information on the eligibility criteria and whether she met it. Her end goal seemed to be an attempt to maintain plausible deniability.”
