I noticed my CPC membership had expired so took the opportunity to become a registered member of the Liberal party to do my part for our democracy during this Liberal leadership race. Chandra Arya seems like the best option that is if he is “approved” to run as leader.

“Alberta’s government has introduced sweeping legislation aimed at removing political and ideological influence from classrooms while strengthening school safety and accountability across the education system.

If passed, Bill 25 — An Act to Remove Politics and Ideology from Classrooms and Amend the Education Act, 2026 — would require schools to maintain neutral, impartial learning environments and refocus classroom instruction on core subjects like reading, math and science.
