I know we all have an Independence hang over today. But to me a couple things are glaringly apparent:
1. Danielle Smith should have kept her mouth shut, I believe she did a lot of harm to the movement.
2. I think the same thing about Jeff Rath and we would have been stronger if we were more united.
3. Definitely something fishy with the mail-in ballots.
4. Carney is going to ruin Canada and the Elbows Up crowd in Alberta is all in.
5. The people in the independence movement won't be deterred. This is only the beginning. Nobody said it would be easy - in fact, they overwhelmingly said it would be extremely difficult. But that never stopped us before.
My MLA Jason Stephan announced last night he will not run again for Red Deer South. How many more will follow suit? I have a feeling Premier Smith will be musing about it as now Carney will knock her down (wouldn't matter if she was a he) as that is one more from his agenda dealt with. I guess we can thank Rath and company for this actually, What is or was his agenda?
