A few weeks back, I planted my peppers, watermelons, cantaloupe and bulb onions in the house and they are now up about 3 inches. I have been chomping at the bit to plant the rest of the seeds ever since. Today is the day. Today I planted all my cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, cucumbers and for the first time, spaghetti squash seeds in seed trays in the greenhouse and made sure the heater is on and ready to heat up the germination table when the greenhouse gets below 17c.
The setup: The heater is under a table with grated top, a big plastic sheet covers the table on all sides right down to the floor. The seed trays are on top of the plastic. When the temperature starts to drop at roughly 6 or 7pm, we will go down to the greenhouse and cover the seed trays with a second layer of plastic that goes part way to the floor on all sides.
