Here is her response
Sorry for the late response, here is a message from Sarah:
"The federal government has announced support for the Town of Banff to address housing issues through the housing accelerator fund. It is definitely more complicated with Banff being in a National Park and Parks Canada is responsible for managing the land that the town sits on. However, the residents of Banff are still Albertans and as such the province does have a role to play in ensuring their needs are addressed.
Housing, and the provision of affordable housing, is up to all three levels of government to address. It is a perfect example of an issue that all levels of government should collaborate on to address. In Banff, we're seeing both the municipal and federal governments step up, but the provincial government has yet to do so. As MLA for Banff-Kananaskis, I just want more affordable housing built in the Bow Valley. In all of the communities in the Bow Valley from Mini Thni to Banff and every community in between.
I did also work with Blake Richards, our MP, to secure funding for Banff from the federal program. My approach to address this crisis situation is to work on all fronts."
Take care,

I acknowledge, with deep respect and gratitude, the many generations of stewards that came before me that enable me to live, work, and play where I do. The Banff-Kananaskis riding sits in Treaty 7 Territory. In the spirit of respect and truth, I honour the Treaty 7 Nations and oral practices of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda) – comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney First Nations – as well as the Tsuut'ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai. We acknowledge that this territory is home Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3. I acknowledge all Nations who live, work, and play here, help us steward this land, and honour and celebrate this place. We are all treaty people.

THE MEETING THAT SHOOK THE WORLD: A GEOPOLITICAL EARTHQUAKE
The frozen tundra of Alaska, a land of stark beauty and brutal realism, became the unlikely stage for a diplomatic confrontation that will echo through history. On a crisp August day in 2025, two men—Donald J. Trump, the President of the United States, and Vladimir Putin, the steely-eyed leader of Russia—sat across from each other in a room that felt smaller than the weight of the decisions hanging in the air. This was not just another summit. This was the moment the post-Cold War order collapsed, and a new era—one of multipolar power, economic warfare, and the unraveling of Western hegemony—was born.
