Michael Campbell: “War-zone-like from France: on Thursday, over 1,000 high schools were affected, 222 were blockaded, 2,000 students were detained, and 305 police officers were injured.
On Friday, around 400 schools were closed and—by midday—564 were still facing disruptions, with approximately 600 new detentions.
Since the unrest began: 40 principals and 170 students have been injured, and more than 100 high schools have suffered severe damage.
