We were chatting this morning about the Alberta Pension Plan and how it’s come up as a topic of discussion in the media again. If DS had just done what she said she was going to do and pursued our pension plan, collection of our own taxes, our own provincial police force etc…This independence issue would not be happening right now. The first thing would be to get our house in order and collect our own taxes then decide what Ottawa gets THAT end equalization issues immediately and would fulfill the electorate request to end equalization. These taxes would give us the funds to support the rest of the sovereign programs separating us from Canada while still remaining part of the country and we would work on the rest. Just do what Quebec does, it’s that easy.
CPP STILL has not given Alberta the figures of what is our portion and that has to happen now, apparently we have to take them to court for the answer which is a pain in the butt and expensive but it’s more expensive in the ...

Watched a video that a city Councillor in Red Deer did and he briefly discussed the referendum. He said something that resonated with me and it was listen to peoples comments and if they use a "label" basically know they don't have your best interest in mind - Un-hinged, Lunatic, Sewer Rat come to mind.
Also all the buzz words that the media use - mis-information, dis-information, misogynist, anti-vaxxer, etc come to mind.
